Who operates GoldBuff
GoldBuff is provided by VIETNAM WEALTH TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT JOINT STOCK COMPANY under the IFI Studio brand. IFI Studio publishes GoldBuff on Google Play. On iOS, GoldBuff is currently published on the App Store by PSON Company and is expected to transfer to IFI Studio. Information used by the app
GoldBuff uses account details such as your email address and account ID for sign-in and account management. It stores the expenses and other financial records you choose to enter so that you can view and manage them in the app. GoldBuff uses Supabase to provide account and data services.
Optional AI voice entry
Voice entry is optional. If you choose to use it and give consent in the app, audio and related text are sent for processing through GoldBuff’s service and OpenAI to suggest transaction details. Your spoken content may include personal or financial information. You can use manual entry without enabling AI voice entry. Review suggested details before saving them.
Optional product analytics
Product analytics are off by default in the current app plan. If you opt in, GoldBuff may send limited usage events to PostHog to understand how features perform. You can change this choice in the app’s privacy settings. Turning analytics off stops new collection; it does not itself delete events already processed. PostHog retains product analytics events for up to one year.
Purchases and subscriptions
If you buy a subscription or an in-app product, the app store processes the payment. GoldBuff and its purchase-service provider may use transaction and entitlement records to grant access, restore purchases, and maintain billing records. GoldBuff does not receive your full payment-card details from the app store.
Retention and deletion
Account and expense information is kept to provide GoldBuff while your account is active. You can delete individual records or request account deletion. Some limited purchase and technical records may be retained where needed for billing, security, or legal purposes; app stores hold their own records under their policies.
See the current GoldBuff account and data deletion instructions. Deleting your GoldBuff account does not cancel an active app-store subscription; cancel it through the app store if you want to stop renewal.
